Gabor’s session clearly outlines how the new approach to releasing Drupal allows to shift the mindset from “ivory tower perfectionsm” to “lets see if this works good enough”.
Enabling these new possibilities and constraints is great, but useless if not taken advantage of.
Luckily, it really does seem the Drupal community is getting better at making decisions, accepting significant trade-offs and then executing on the chosen direction.
Good job team, lets do more of this for 8.3.
